Ruth Bader Ginsburg (1993-2020)
Ruth Bader Ginsburg was the US Supreme Court’s feminist icon and a pioneering advocate for women’s rights.
“My mother told me to be a lady.
And for her, that meant be your own person, be independent.”
Ruth spent a lifetime flourishing in the face of adversity before being appointed a Supreme Court Justice, where she successfully fought against gender discrimination and unified the liberal block of the court.
Ruth proved herself to be a strong and morally just woman. Someone we can all look up to in every walk of life.
Without Ruth, the world would not be what it is today.
Rest in peace.
